Knowing your audience makes all the difference in how you give directions. Using street names for an out-of-towner or colors for someone who is color-blind, while technically correct, isn't helpful. The best teams function well because they know each other as humans, not just as workers. They can communicate in a way that is clear and effective for each other, not just for the situation.
