If we were 100% ready for the next job or role we took, we'd be fortune tellers. Life and business are unpredictable. Don't wait. Inventory your strengths. Learn and grow where you can, and put your hand up for opportunities. If they don't exist where you are, communicate with your leaders about why and how to create them. Sometimes, the answer lies outside your current employer. It doesn't mean something went wrong; there might be a better opportunity for your skills and values elsewhere. Don't confuse loyalty with professional progress and personal satisfaction.
