It's incredible how much I can get done relatively quickly when needed. On other days, I can fill hours with a few simple tasks. I used to think I had to maximize time and space and squeeze every minute out of the hour. I was exhausted and still had too much to do. It wasn't healthy, and I wasn't always happy. Filling hours with nothing or a few small things isn't a sign of weakness; it's a sign of recovery and, in my case, creativity. It's when my brain frees up space to do its thing and put together new ideas. I know I will do what needs to get done, when it needs to get done. The rest of the time belongs to me.
