If you've ever procrastinated, been frustrated that you didn't just do something, and are also a perfectionist, here's some insight. Some of us have (or are recovering from) a case of seriously high standards we set for ourselves. While it might sound counterintuitive, it becomes easier not to do something rather than risk not doing it well enough. Perfectionism is no easy habit to break, but lowering standards over time can help. No one should expect anyone to do things perfectly all the time, and if you are tired of procrastinating, chances are, in time, you'll find more peace in efficiently completing things. Perfection is a concept we're better without!
