No clear answer

Being a senior leader often means making decisions that don't have clear answers. It may also involve a limited timeframe. The time crunch, while stressful, can be helpful. It forces the energy into the moment.

  • Gather the available facts and resources.

  • Use the facts to create options.

  • Look at the pros and cons.

  • Rank the options.

  • Be clear on your limits.

If you break your decision into a few smaller ones, you'll gain momentum, which may help you think more creatively toward your end goal. As a senior leader - the decision lies with you!
