Triaging exists for a reason, and hopefully, most of us aren't faced with sorting life and death every day, but the concept can still help us sift through projects. Prioritize critical items regarding the value they will bring or what they cost by not doing. Your time, energy, and frustration factor into this as well. While satisfying, just completing things to check them off isn't the most productive way.
