Face it head on


The same standard of conduct should apply to everyone in an organization. No one should get a pass because of position, personality, or performance. If employees discuss different standards, leaders must address the issue. Unfortunately, negativity in the workplace carries excessive weight, and the behavior can become infectious. If the pattern is repeating, managing it becomes critical. Employee energy is best when focused on growth and productivity, not distractions and damaging behavior.
