Everything's Fine

Creating a positive work environment isn't smiling and telling your team everything will be fine. An actual positive environment acknowledges reality, including the good and the bad. Let's face it; no job is all sunshine and roses!

  • Create a safe and supportive atmosphere where people feel heard and encouraged to prioritize physical and mental well-being.

  • Celebrate effectiveness and efficiency, not hours and overworking.

  • Establish good communication routines with your team together and individually, and encourage peer-to-peer feedback. This keeps ideas flowing and issues addressed in a timely fashion.

  • Support mistakes and learn from them.

  • Build trust by allowing people to do things their own way.
