Especially people. It is easy to overlook that people change. Life happens. Experiences happen. Sometimes, the change is gradual; other times, there are defining moments that create a more dramatic shift. We hold on to memories that make a static reference while life continues. It is easier for us, but not always fair. For people to be at their best, they must be able to be their most current, most authentic version with everyone, even if that's not who we remember.
