If you could incorporate some of your passions or hobbies into a paying job, would it bring you more job satisfaction? If you can't answer this, it may mean you've gotten so far away from your strengths and values at your current job that you can't envision what that would look like. You can take a self-inventory if you are honest with yourself to assess what you bring to your job and what it brings to you. You could be learning something new and need your current environment to play out more. It may also be financial, and while it only brings a little satisfaction, it does fill a financial requirement that will allow for greater flexibility down the road. If you need clarification on your " why," and your current work serves no other purpose and brings no satisfaction, perhaps there is more out there?
