You can get by in life with good enough most of the time. It pains me to write that, as a recovering perfectionist, it is not only true, it is wildly inefficient to think otherwise. However, if you are training for something important, a race, a big game, a match, or even a test, good enough isn't good enough. You need to stretch yourself to your limit and find what's possible. The human body and brain are remarkable in that way. What wasn't possible last week or yesterday can be possible today or tomorrow, but it takes training, practice, and commitment. It isn't for the weary, and it sure isn't easy, but for those who choose not to settle and want to accomplish something great, it's possible.
