Creating ownership


Employees feel valued when they are given ownership of the tasks under their control. If a learning culture is in place to ensure proper training and support, let them explore ways to execute and correct, if necessary. No one operates at their best when they feel someone is looking over their shoulder or may take something from them before completion. Set people up with skills, support, and encouragement and let them do their jobs.
