Better circles

Looking up to someone sometimes lets us hide their weaknesses in the shadows. Behaviors that aren't normally tolerated get rationalized, occasionally enabled, or even emulated because the person is held in such high esteem. Evaluate the facts using your strengths and values in all situations, personal and professional. When things don't align, that's ok. No one is perfect, and they don't all have to be in your circle. Build your circle with people who bring out your best and for whom you bring out their best.
